Mark Zuckerberg may seem like your average everyday nerd but UFC CEO Dana White promises looks can be deceiving.

After joining the Meta board of directors back in January, White has been working alongside Zuckerberg and his numerous business endeavors, which obviously includes both Facebook and Instagram. In the Oscar-winning film The Social Network, Zuckerberg is portrayed as a socially awkward genius who was arguably one of the least physically imposing entrepreneurs in history.

But White says after working with Zuckerberg and seeing the dedication he’s put towards training in MMA that there’s no doubt he could handle himself in a fight.

“People talk shit about Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg’s actually a great athlete,” White said on the The Skinny Confidential podcast. “He trains in MMA, he surfs, he does all this shit. Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of you.

“Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd, Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living shit out of you. All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, he’ll kick their ass.”

Of course, Zuckerberg has participated in grappling tournaments, and he’s often found on social media training alongside some of the UFC’s best and brightest. He also routinely ends up sitting cage side for some of the biggest fights in the UFC.

It also wasn’t long ago that Zuckerberg was touting a potential showdown with fellow billionaire Elon Musk in a potential fight that White was frothing at the mouth to promote.

“That whole thing was fascinating,” White said. “A fun moment in my career … promoting the Elon-Zuckerberg fight and trying to put that thing together was a lot of fun, too.”

While it seems unlikely that Zuckerberg and Musk actually trade blows in the UFC, White promises that the Facebook co-founder isn’t just some celebrity who dabbles in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from time to time.

He’s apparently ready to throw hands if he gets tested.

“The moral of this story is all you telephone tough guys and internet tough guys that talk shit about Mark Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of every one of you,” White said. “Just for the record.”
