UFC Vegas 111 Gabriel Bonfim vs Randy Brown Preview, Odds| Betting News

Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 111 turned out to be a pretty exciting card with every fight on the main card ending in a finish.

In the main event, Gabriel Bonfim scored a controversial knockout against Randy Brown, which many are calling an ‘early stoppage’.

Lightweight Chris Padilla and welterweight Uros Medic both made it clear they wanted a $50K performance bonus after their TKO wins over Ismael Bonfim and Muslim Salikhov.

Padilla said in his post-fight interview that his family was ‘struggling’ and that his mother was currently living in a trailer. As for Medic, the fighter with a 100% finish rate says he should have been given bonuses for two knockouts in the past.

Despite their wishes, Medic and Padilla aren’t leaving Las Vegas with an extra check.

UFC hands out four performance bonuses at UFC Vegas 111

The UFC ran their post-fight bonuses different than usual this weekend.

Instead of two fighters getting a ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, the promotion ended up giving four ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses, each worth $50K.

Headliner Gabriel Bonfim, Christian Leroy Duncan, Zach Reese, and UFC debutant Josh Hokit were the bonus winners at UFC Vegas 111.

Each of these fighters scored a highlight-reel knockout, except for Zach Reese, who won by submission on four days’ notice.

Fans react to Chris Padilla and Uros Medic getting snubbed of a bonus

Some fans were surprised to see Padilla and Medic go without performance bonuses on fight night.

The card had eight finishes out of twelve bouts.

“Nights like these should have extra bonuses. Medic and Padilla were more than deserving,” one fan wrote on X.

“Yeah they really hate it when u ask for a bonus. It’s so stupid. Medic & Padilla robbed,” another fan added.
