👽 3I/ATLAS Is Breaking the Rules of the Universe — and Nobody Can Explain Why!🚨🛸

For context, the distance from Earth to the moon is approximately 400,000 kilometers, meaning these jets extend seven times that distance.
What makes this discovery even more remarkable is the comparison to earlier observations made by the Hubble Space Telescope in July, which revealed a small glowing cloud around 3I/ATLAS.
The new jets observed in November were a staggering 3,000 times larger than what Hubble detected just a few months prior.
This rapid expansion is unprecedented and raises serious questions about the physical processes at play.
Typically, comets exhibit a single tail that points away from the sun, driven by the solar wind—an outflow of charged particles from the sun that can reach speeds of over 800,000 miles per hour.
However, the jets observed in 3I/ATLAS are unique because they appear to push against the solar wind, suggesting they are incredibly dense and powerful.
While jets that point toward the sun, known as anti-tails, are rare, they are not unheard of.
Historical examples include Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, which was torn apart by Jupiter’s gravity, resulting in spectacular impacts on the planet in 1994.
Another instance is Comet Holmes, which unexpectedly brightened and expanded in 2007.
Both cases involved fragmentation, leading to multiple jets of gas and dust being expelled.

Avi Loe, an astrophysicist, conducted calculations regarding the material loss from 3I/ATLAS and arrived at some staggering figures.
He estimates that the comet is losing approximately 50 billion tons of material every month.
However, there’s a glaring inconsistency: the total mass of 3I/ATLAS is estimated to be around 33 billion tons.
To clarify, if the comet weighs 33 billion tons, it cannot possibly lose 50 billion tons in a month.

When Shoemaker-Levy 9 fragmented near Jupiter, the total mass of material released exceeded the comet’s original weight.

Each fragment could be melting independently, creating its own jet, which would collectively result in the enormous material loss calculated by Loe.
Another intriguing aspect of 3I/ATLAS is its retrograde orbit.
In our solar system, most objects orbit the sun in a counterclockwise direction.
However, 3I/ATLAS is traveling clockwise, which is highly unusual.
Only about 1 to 2% of objects are known to have retrograde orbits, typically small moons captured by larger planets.
Moreover, 3I/ATLAS’s trajectory aligns almost perfectly with the ecliptic plane, the flat disc where all the planets orbit.
The probability of such an alignment occurring randomly is approximately 0.2%, or a 1 in 500 chance, making it even more peculiar.
The peculiarities of 3I/ATLAS draw comparisons to the interstellar object ‘Oumuamua, which was also characterized by strange behavior and statistics.
‘Oumuamua exhibited an elongated shape and unusual brightness variations as it tumbled through space.
Its acceleration as it left the solar system raised questions about its composition and origin.
While some scientists proposed that ‘Oumuamua might be a light sail—a structure designed to harness sunlight for propulsion—most believe it was a type of comet.
The key difference is that ‘Oumuamua was relatively small, while 3I/ATLAS is significantly larger, measuring over a mile wide and weighing billions of tons.

The combination of 3I/ATLAS’s unusual mass loss, retrograde orbit, and alignment with the ecliptic plane makes it one of the most fascinating cosmic mysteries to date.
