A giant sphere emitting glowing designs has been filmed in Russia—sparking claims of alien technology that could send hidden messages in plain sight.

Footage shows the driver stopping on the side of the road as he films the large orb through trees.

The huge object flashes pink and orange several times before the motorist moves his car down the road for a clearer view.

The distant sphere then flashes and glows several times before the footage ends.

“Wow. Creepy. Looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie,” wrote one user.

Another added: “Woah, what the hell is that doing out in the middle of nowhere?”

But others were convinced the large sphere was man-made and that the flashing was actually adverts.

“It looks like a big round screen showing commercials,” wrote one user.
